Learn 210 Advance yoga postures Alignments + Flow

This course is eligible for those who have already completed 200hrs Basics to intermediate level. 210 Advance yoga postures, Advance breathing techniques, Mudras and bandhas related to alignment and flow yoga. 210 advance yoga postures comprises of equally forward bend, backward bend, twists, inversions, standing postures, so many complimentary yoga postures and its derivatives will be taught carefully step by step procedures insisting on injury preventions and also adopting the postures as quick as possible. Both soft and dynamic school of class descriptions will be taught providing the quality course notes and practical training manual.

Namaste yoga academy Hong Kong always adapts traditional Multi style hatha yoga teachings. It blends both soft and dynamic schools of teaching methods. Our students undergo traditional base and learn to know different yoga styles of western practices as well. We make the students to explore their physical body during yoga postures as much as possible with no stress of performing them and focus at present and experience what they are doing at that moment specifically to deepen their practice with patience.

Our teachers are advanced practioners who can train our students to be advance yogis to become a teachers. Asana Practice is main part in teacher training. We will teach the Hatha yogasanas from Hatha Yoga Pradipika and integrate it with anatomy, physiology, alignment then adjustment and corrections. Students will be able to learn Sanskrit names of each yoga techniques and its meaning to explore the teaching methodology for different style of yoga asana classes. Course will reveal all the aspects of techniques and its teachings. Alternate nostril breathing Nadi shodhana, sheetali, sheet Kari (cooling pranayama), Bhramari (humming breathing), Ujjayi (psychic breathing), Bhastrika, Kapalabhati, suryabheda etc. are the breathing techniques are taught theoretical and practical wise.

The breathe, vital force, prana are same meaning denotes the Bio energy human body, animal, or the atmospheres. This vital force is adjusted in the body through Acupressure, acupuncture, pranic healing, rekei etc., but yoga has pranayama methods to easily channelize the vital force in to the body and works to cleanse and energies the bodies. A detail of this both theory and practice is taught well in the course.

Indian Yoga Philosophy

India is the birth place for yoga where there is ocean of yoga philosophy can be received. Indians naturally grow with yoga philosophical family background and this truth is known to west, for which the reasons the western students want learn yoga from Indian teachers and go India to learn its philosophy. We inspire our yoga trainees not only just to learn the philosophy but also give them a unique touch of dedication and intention to practice well to adapt it in their teaching career.


It is usual in Hong Kong or elsewhere to isolate meditation from yoga. But we bring the meditation as essential component and explain how mediation is necessary to deepen the yoga as career and spiritual growth. Learning meditation is tricky but in our course we will guide you with great response for bringing you in to meditations. As meditation is the biggest part of yoga journey we will bring more attention and integration in to this technique throughout the whole courses.

Anatomy – Physiology & Psychology of Yoga practices

During our YTTC, you are going to learn about anatomical and physiological aspects of your body both in modern and yoga aspect. This is a fundamental subject when it comes to physical practice and understanding the health benefits, avoiding injuries. Learning about the functions of the body and how to apply this knowledge will be our core focus. Following this practical and documented approach, you are going to realize all the benefits and actions of yoga for your yoga teachings as teachers.

Many of the yoga hypotheses can be now observed and evaluated for the health and illness, for this modern understanding of anatomy and physiology is very much useful in this era through integrating yoga with modern anatomy and physiology.

Anatomy classes allows students to gain basic knowledge on muscles, joints, arteries, veins, brain, musculoskeletal system as whole, nervous system , respiratory system, role of immunity and the practice to enhance its functioning, limitations , indications, contraindications according to human system and yoga techniques.

Modern understanding of human organism has really helped this ancient wisdom of Yoga to get established in this era because many of the hypotheses of Yoga now we can observe and evaluate for their health benefits. Yoga Philosophy Sessions

Without philosophy the yoga is similar to body without consciousness. Our interactive question and answer sessions help the students reach own answers to mundane, emotional and spiritual life. our experiences is that quality of questions determine the quality of life and if one knows the path to the answers then the life becomes ground of opportunities and possibilities. Development of interpersonal skills is one such major outcome which refines the perception and responses towards the events of life for enhanced experience of it.

Asana Sessions Combination of Hatha and Ashtanga yoga

Ancient India has so many arts practiced thousands of years, physical culture is one such , yoga asana or physical postures been practiced in India by rishis and yogis to arise the kundalini power to achieve the oneness. Later the asana practice was followed to discipline the human being and alleviate the physical discomforts. Hatha yoga tradition has crossed many generations to reach modern version of Shri B.K.S Iyengar and Sri K Pattabhi Jois styles of yoga. These two are the pillars of the modern form of yoga where one talks about precise alignment and other talks about flow. Pranayama – Breath regulation for rejuvenation and harmonious mind body health:

Prana is all pervading and fundamental force behind the manifestation of existence. Pranayama kosha (sheath) is engulfing human and is manifested as breath within the human beings. Breathing control practices regulates the positive mind set and leads to raise the consciousness. For yoga practioners the breath is the medium to access the self to achieve the realization. Breathing is also called as psychophysiological mirror of being that means by regulating breathing we can positively change our emotion and mood.

1 Principles and Fundamentals of Yoga

1.1  Familiarity with evolution of Yoga philosophy.
1.2  Familiarity with teachings of Vedas, Principal Upanishads, Shad Darshana, Agama & Purana.
1.3  Familiarity with 4 schools of Yoga: Jnana, Bhakti, Karma & Raja Yoga.
1.4  Familiarity with fundamental principles of Yoga - Panchakosha, Panchabhutas, Panchapranas, Shad-Chakras.
1.5  Familiarity with concepts & models relevant to Yoga practice.
1.6  Familiarity with Gurus / Masters, their contribution and tradion of Guru-shishya) - (Patanjali, Shankaracharya, Aurobindo, Swami Vivekananda.

2 Introduction to basic Yoga texts for advance philosophy

2.1  Yoga Sutras of Patanjali - anushasana, vritti, cittaprasadana, kleshas, ashtangas)

3 Applications of Yoga (Anatomy & Physiology, Psychology & Diet)
